Accessibility Week 2022: One World

ARCIL, Inc. Unites for Accessibility to Me Week 2022: One World 🌍

How would you translate the phrase, One World?

Accessibility isn’t just exclusive to one country, there are millions of children and adults across the globe who don’t have access to online information and services due to language barriers.

ARCIL is proud to celebrate ‘Accessibility to Me’ awareness week, a key date in our calendar to get everyone talking and learning about accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.

November 14th through the 18th marks Recite Me’s second annual ‘Accessibility to Me’ awareness week, where we come together and recognize our differences within our communities to support a diverse range of people. This year’s focus is accessibility across the globe.

ARCIL, Inc. Mission Statement

ARCIL is dedicated to the advancement and full participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life!

Everyone deserves the freedom to live a barrier-free life. 15% of the world’s population has a disability that may impact an individual’s access to information, services, experiences, and opportunities.

Together, we can give everyone the tools to communicate their understanding and thoughts on coming together to tackle inclusion globally. This starts by creating awareness of the inability to converse and digest information if you don’t speak a specific language. From this, you use the power of social media to spread inclusion across the internet for everyone.

Recite Me assistive technology provides accessibility and language support tools to create a unique and customizable user experience. Options include text-to-speech functionality, fully customizable styling features, reading aids, and a translation tool with over 100 languages, including 65 texts-to-speech voices and many other features.

To join the conversation on creating an inclusive society across the world, use the hashtag #OneWorld
